CommScope Technical Family Webinar

Join us for the next CommScope Technical Family webinar, “Empowering Your Data Center” on July 13.

Managing data centers poses many new challenges, including fast, high-speed migrations and unique options for achieving these new speeds with several different connector types. Looking at new switches/transceivers that showcase new topologies with higher density will be critical for future best-in-class solutions.

In this webinar, we will review how these topics affect data center design and planning, and provide some suggestions on using an ultra-low loss link calculator and new connector types like the MPO16 and SN, to make your data center future-proof.

Multimode MPO Connectors are traditionally flat polished. With the actual 400Gbit application the MPO multimode connector can also be angled polished to achieve better transmission quality. Furthermore the 16 Fiber MPO connector used for 400Gbit application, cannot be connected into a 12 Fiber MPO because of the key shift on the 16 Fiber MPO. Take care when choosing your MPO system.
