Next CommScope Technical Family Webinar

You don’t want to miss next month’s CommScope Technical Family webinar! On June 16th, we will deliver a message to clearly define what the industry standards state about properly planning and implementing an end-to-end infrastructure network, to support high power PoE networks. We will also discuss the changes within the Ethernet ecosystem that drive some of the changes in the way traditional copper structured cabling networks are implemented.

Solution and Product Updates

Category 6A Small diameter cable - CommScope introduced the 2091SDB - the next generation of SYSTIMAX Category 6A U/UTP small diameter cable. It maintains the same trusted performance of its predecessor (2091SD) at a smaller cable diameter. The 2091SDB retains its cross-web separator design for reliable near-end crosstalk (NEXT) performance and robust cable structural integrity.

• Guaranteed by SYSTIMAX Application Assurance and 25-year warranty
• Cable diameter reduction from 0.265 inch to 0.249 inch (6.325 mm) compared to previous generation
• Cross-web separator for optimal NEXT margin and stable cable structure

Last month CommScope introduced the Propel™ system. Here are some highlights on the Propel Panels.

• Propel high-density panels (1U, 2U, & 4U) are designed to adapt and grow as your needs change. Like all Propel components, the panels are completely modular and interchangeable.
• They support 16-fiber MPO connectivity and up to 144 LC-connected fibers per RU—giving you the flexibility and density to seamlessly advance to 400 Gb, 800 Gb and beyond.
• Any size Propel component can be used in each panel or blade.
• Components can be installed and removed from the front or rear of the panel.
• Supports 8f, 12f, 16f and 24f applications while maintaining full panel density.
• Cable mounting system allows for multiple trunk cables to be securely attached.
